12th Congress of the European Society for Photobiology
Fellowships for the 12th Congress of the ESP
The European Society for Photobiology (ESP) will award a limited number of Fellowships to young Photobiologists attending the 12th Congress of the Society, which will be held in Bath, UK, from September 1 to September 6, 2007. Successful applicants will be provided with accommodation (premium standard room), waiving of the registration fee and 45 pounds (GBP).
Applicants must be Students or Post-Doc's (less than 35 years of age) and ESP Members at the time of application.
Applications should be sent (preferably by e-mail) to Kristian Berg, Chairman of the ESP "Education and Training Committee", by May 15, 2007. The application letter must be accompanied by:
- Abstract of the presentation at the meeting
- A concise CV
- A letter of support from the applicant’s advisor at his/her home institution

ASP Frederick Urbach Memorial Travel Awards
The ASP is pleased to announce the Frederick Urbach Memorial Travel Awards to help defray, in part, the costs of travel of ASP Associate Members to the 12th Congress of the European Society for Photobiology (Sept 1-6, 2007, Bath, UK). In order to be considered for these competitive awards, you must be an ASP Associate Member and:
- Submit an abstract to the ESP Congress
- Submit a copy of your abstract and a letter justifying how travel to this meeting will further you career goals.
- Submit a letter from your mentor supporting your application.
Application materials must be sent to Miguel A. Miranda (mmiranda@qim.upv.es), Chair of the ASP Grants and Awards Committee, on or before May 25, 2007.
